Ta Tean Khum Fuk

Ta Tean Khum Fuk is the basic Muay Thai Moves to defense the punch by Pushing it out by using the arm.

Attacker : Move Forward and strike left punch on opponent face.

Defensive :

1. Step forward by crossing the left foot to close opponent.
2. Give the weight on the left foot.
3. Bends the right arm and holds up in the front of the face. Throws it over to push opponent punch pass over the head.
4. Stirke left uppercut to the tip of opponent’s chin.

If Attacker strike the right punch, do everything the same but switch from right to left and left to right.

Yog Khow Pra Su Main is the Muay Thai Moves to unlock punching to pass stright punch pass over the head and counter attack by uppercut.

Attacker : Move forward and strike the left punch to defensive while right guard.

Defensive :

1. Step the right leg obliquely forward to outside.
2. Give the weight on the right leg.
3. Use the left arm pushing the opponent punch out from face.
4. Stirke the right punch to the opponent eyes.

If Attacker strike the right punch, do everything the same but switch from right to left and left to right.

Fighter should train this basic step both left and right side until you can do it by instinct. This is the most important Muay Thai step because it’s the initial to use other techniques follow and instinct can help you very much when you fight. You can response autonomous when attacked.
