Muay Thai Classic

Muay Korat is come from NaKorn Rachasima province in Northern East of Thailand. We know Muay Korat in the name of “Good Punch” Muay.

Muay Korat is very popular in period of King Rama3. Muay Korat prefer to use gray goods to protect full arms from any kicking and prefer to attack by using “Wiang Kwai” or “Buffalo Swing” powerful punch to strike on the ears of competitors. (As we know, this powerful punch can win over when fight with buffalo) Muay Korat Moves by use footwork “Suua Yang” or “Tiger walk”. This technique is moves and closed guards together.

Well known fighters

1. Daeng ThaiPraSert (Muen Changat Cherng Chok) – Skillful fighter represent Muay Korat in front of the king and win over competitor. So, the king give him an awards by gave money and title for him.

2. Pong Prabsabok who win over Claver punch Muay Lopburi, Muen Muay Man Mud. He is the last winner of Muay fighting on garden. (After this match, fight on ring only.)

3. Tue ThaiPraSert is Deang ThaiPraSert young brother. He is drawn with Tuam KhewSangSai top class skillful fighter from Bangkok and drawn with Sorn Phetsuk top class skillful fighter of Muay Chaiya.

4.Tub ChamKoh who win over skillful Muay Chinese Mr. Hun Young Hun on SuanKuLarb ring. He has good elbows and very fast kicking.

5. Young HarnTaLae who is closed solder of Klom Leung ChumPornDeachUDomSuk. He come to Bangkok in the same time with Dang ThaiPraSert, Tue ThaiPraSert and Tub ChamKoh.

- He knockout Mr Zi Zheng, Kungfu Master, in a single round at Rose garden ring. (6th of August 1921)

- He knockout well-known Shaolin Kungfu master, Mr Lai Hu, the “Iron Tiger”, in 2nd round at Rose garden ring. (13th of May 1922)

- He win over Che Chang very good skill Muay Chinese from Hong Kong. He use technique escape (fake) for win at the end from his master advised.
